The artist concentrates on depicting the everyday corners of the home, presenting the quiet moments of daily life.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 is a work that mixes photography and drawing. Under the hand-painted blue paper plate is a photographic photo of a small bathroom floor; next to the photo is a drawing of a small bathroom floor according to the photo, with fine blue pastels added.
This is a work that explores the difference between the languages of photography and painting, and where the artist ponders the concepts of concealment and disclosure.
More than half of the photographs are covered by the blue cardboard, and the audience has no way of knowing what is inside. They can only guess the overall appearance of the photographs through the content of the paintings next to them.
𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 and 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 are a pair of works. The artist concentrates on depicting the daily moments and brings out its tranquil essence.
