The photography book EMOTION DICTIONARY is also an English-Chinese dictionary that collects and documents 700 English words that describe human emotions. These words are added as illustrations in tangent with the daily photos taken of travellers in Europe from 2015-17.
With each photo is an added example sentences that hide the traveller's own words found in dialogues between refugees and the travellers, and diary entries of the traveller.

Art Exhibition: EMOTION DICTIONARY
The exhibition focuses on the mentality of people who travel long distances and helps us have a deeper understanding of how this phenomenon affects our daily life activities such as dining, waiting, and sleeping. The importance of generating ideas inspired by daily life in a foreign land, and transforming them into actual artworks is to open up a discussion regarding the mentality of migrants that may be overlooked and to bring the idea of migrants or displaced people close to our own daily lives.
Hong Kong Arts Development Council fully supports freedom of artistic expression. The views and opinions expressed in this project do not represent the stand of the Council.
